I have a real affection for all my favorite memes. The ones that I feel stand the test of time are almost like particularly one-dimensional old friends. Some remind me of different times in my life, and some just remain hilarious no matter how many years pass. While there are numerous reasons to appreciate internet humor, a big one is the feelings of recognition and comfort they can evoke when they're at their best.

Of course, we're unlikely to be lucky enough for this to happen with every single meme we end up gluing our eyeballs to. However, we still live in hope that we will find yet more that can reproduce this feeling. The examples below are further opportunities to add to your own roster of favorites.
